In pursuit of promoting career guidance and counselling amongst the youths, Organisation for Career Guidance-OCG conducted a career guidance talk yesterday the 7th of October, 2026 at Brighter Brains Private Secondary School located in Chinsapo Lilongwe District. In addressing the learners, OCG Career Development Officer Mr Robert Jalasi emphasized that students must ensure that they choose careers based on their interests and abilities rather than unjustified external influences. "As beneficiaries and victims of your future, you solely remain with ultimate responsibility of choosing the careers you desire and work towards them. That should happen by not only listening to your friends but making personal assessment of your skills and interest in making such choices" echoed Mr Jalasi.
In her remarks, the headteacher for the school Mrs Makoka thanked OCG for this initiative and hopes the programs will continue to help their students make best career choices for their benefit and the nation.
